New World Vs Old World Wine Tasting Dinner Over the years it seems that food has changed drastically. Ingredients remain virtually the same but Chefs now cook by a completely different set of rules than in years past. Enjoy a comparison dinner between the "old" and "new" world styles that exist in restaurants today at our upcoming wine dinner at Robert's. Experience some of the famed classics of Escoffier's kitchen as well as a taste of the newest trends in the Culinary Scene including molecular gastronomy side by side. Each course will feature a main ingredient that is prepared in two different styles "old" and "new" and will be paired with an example of an old and new world wine example of the same or similar grape variety. Chef MariElena will prepare a three couse menu that exhibits the differences in style between old and new world styles of cooking. Joe will be pairing a total of six delicious artisan wines, two with each course, while both MariElena and Joe provide a brief description for each course and pairing.
